I once had a car that had absolutely no hope. My mechanic said “I know what you need but it has not been invented yet. The current solution costs more than the car is worth.” I asked him to keep checking for the solution because the solution came with a change in rules. That’s the way I want you to start thinking about your business these days. What new solutions and answers are out there for you, in order to continue to increase your sales and serve your customers.

Ive developed a Marketing training video for you. No sales, nothing to buy. this is one I actually taught in one of my university courses and I made it short and to the point for you. I hope it will help you.

Here are some things I want you to think about

  1. Look at the situation. No matter how bleak you must figure out the exact problem. Instead of saying I have no cash flow you need to be more specific to solve the problem. Perhaps you have to change your business model or you need to market differently
  2. Think about a new way of doing things. Get your mind off of failure and think about the success and wins that you will have.
  3. Remember the people you are helping and get back to the basics of good customer service. Don’t forget your employees. Nowadays they have an incentive to help you solve problems and create solutions.
  4. Deal with Ego and Fear. You may need to take a dose of humble and retrain yourself for new skills in order for your business makeover to work.
  5. Remember why you started this business. Many businesses were born out of your first love (or maybe something you couldn’t stand) and the need to make that better.
  6. What happened to the car? Innovation! Sometimes its right in front of you and other times you have to wait for it, as I did. Three months later my mechanic called me and said what I needed had been invented. with that rules and laws changed. I came in and he fixed the problem.

Hang in there,
